Founded by Anton Meryl Nithianandan, Dean Fankhauser, and Vincent Thome, Nuji was built with a bold vision: to empower shoppers to discover, curate, and shop the world’s best fashion and lifestyle products—all in one place.
From our launch in 2011, we developed cutting-edge search and recommendation technologies, intuitive filtering, beautiful curation, and compelling content that helped millions of users navigate a universe of over 5 million products and 10,000 designers from the most renowned online stores, brands, and boutiques.
Our journey saw us reach profitability, scaling to $19 million in annual gross sales, backed by investors who also fueled the growth of Zoopla, Revolut, Citymapper, TransferWise, Farfetch, and Business of Fashion.
Above all, Nuji was built for the community—a place where shoppers, curators, and retailers could connect, inspire, and create. We are incredibly grateful to our users, partners, and retailers who supported us in making Nuji such a unique and impactful platform.
While Nuji's chapter as an independent company has closed, our mission continues within Klarna—pushing the boundaries of what the future shopping experience can be.
