SIS Ventures seeks to provide investment to innovative, early-stage Scottish companies with global ambitions. Through its unique impact management approach, SIS Ventures seeks both a financial and an impact return from its investment, helping develop and lock in the mission of the organisation to track progress alongside more conventional business measures.

SIS Ventures invests in businesses that:
- Are purpose-led, helping to address society’s greatest challenges, where impact and commercial growth are intrinsically linked
- Have a clearly defined beneficiary group and aiming to create measurable and sustainable impact
- Are committed to the adoption of responsible business practices e.g. via supply chains, board appointments, employment practices, organisational culture, governance processes
- Offer disruptive products or services backed by defensible technology or proprietary know-how
- Are EIS or SEIS qualifying
- Headquartered in Scotland
- Provide an opportunity to take a meaningful participation by investing - between £100k – £500k (in rounds typically between £500k – £3m)
