Créée en 2006 par François Gabart, MerConcept, notre entreprise, est née de la volonté de créer une écurie de course au large à la pointe de l’innovation et de la performance. Aujourd'hui organisée en 3 départements (course au large, mobilité maritime, construction), nous avons pour mission de réaliser le rêve de se déplacer durablement sur l'océan.
Dotés d’un savoir-faire inédit dans l’ingénierie, les études techniques, la conception et l’assemblage de bateaux de très haute technologie, et forts de 12 années d’expérience, nous accompagnons la création et le développement de projets sportifs, humains et novateurs.
Désormais implantés à Concarneau en Bretagne Sud, nous imaginons, construisons et pilotons les bateaux du futur au cœur de la « Sailling Valley » et des innovations qui ont propulsé la course au large dans une nouvelle ère. Capables de nous réinventer pour répondre aux défis technologiques et environnementaux les plus complexes, nous avons à cœur de participer à la révolution qui s’opère dans le monde de la voile et souhaitons créer des passerelles dans le domaine maritime.

Aujourd’hui entreprise à mission, nous imaginons, construisons et pilotons les bateaux du futur au cœur de notre base de Concarneau en Bretagne grâce à nos 3 pôles : Course au Large, Construction et Mobilité Maritime ainsi qu'à notre laboratoire d’innovation durable, dans un objectif : se réinventer pour répondre aux défis technologiques et environnementaux les plus complexes.
