The CIAD (knowledge and artificial knowledge and intelligence laboratory is a public research laboratory under the supervision of Burgundy Europe (UBE) and the Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM) University of Technology. It consists of around 70 people (teacher-researchers, doctoral students, engineers, post-doctoral students). Our goal is to design hybrid, distributed and explainable artificial intelligences. Our activity is formed by two parts. The first concerns research on scientific locks and the publication of our approaches in international newspapers and conferences in the field. The second concerns the development of evidence of concepts (up to TRL 7 level) based on our research results, as well as business support (from start-up to large groups through SMEs) in their technological innovation process using AI.

Le laboratoire CIAD (Connaissance et Intelligence Artificielle Distribuées) est un laboratoire public de recherche sous la tutelle de l’Université Bourgogne Europe (UBE) et de l’Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM). Il est constitué d’environ 70 personnes (Enseignants-Chercheurs, Doctorants, Ingénieurs, Post-Doctorants). Notre objectif est de concevoir des intelligences artificielles hybrides, distribuées et explicables. Notre activité est formée par deux parties. La première concerne la recherche sur des verrous scientifiques et la publication de nos approches dans des journaux et conférences internationaux du domaine. La seconde concerne le développement de preuves de concepts (jusqu'au niveau TRL 7) basé sur nos résultats de recherche, ainsi que l’accompagnement d’entreprises (de la start-up au grand groupe en passant par les PME) dans leur processus d’innovation technologique utilisant de l'IA.
