Elle a pour mission première d’assurer la maturation et la mise sur le marché de ces technologies. Dans ce but, ses actionnaires lui confient la gestion et l’exploitation de leur propriété intellectuelle.
Dotée d’une capacité d’investissement que l’Etat a voulu importante, au profit de la recherche publique, TTT peut aussi intervenir en collaboration avec des entreprises, ou en prestation de services.
