[Automatic translation follows] Large reading game aloud for CM1-CM2 students
Launched in France in 2012, the big game of small champions of reading is aimed at all CM1 and CM2 students from France. It is also open to
French establishments abroad (AEFE). Children are invited for three minutes to read a text of their choice aloud.
Completely free, it aims to promote reading and orality, in a fun mode and from the angle of pleasure and sharing. Organized under the high patronage of the Minister of National Education and Youth and created on the initiative of the National Edition union, this game also constitutes an educational project for teachers and mediators of the book: it takes place throughout the school year, in 4 stages. The children first designate the most convincing reader of their group or their class, which will then participate in a departmental final, before being selected for the regional stage, then for the grand final in a great theater, in particular in the presence of the godmother of the operation and the authors of the books that each small champion will read on this occasion. The small champions of reading bring together each year more and more children, teachers and mediators of the book. Join us in this great adventure!

Grand jeu de lecture à voix haute pour les élèves de CM1-CM2
Lancé en France en 2012, le Grand jeu des Petits champions de la lecture s’adresse à tous les élèves de CM1 et CM2 de France. Il est également ouvert aux
établissements français à l’étranger (AEFE). Les enfants sont invités durant trois minutes, à lire à voix haute un texte de leur choix.
Entièrement gratuit, il vise à promouvoir la lecture et l’oralité, sur un mode ludique et sous l’angle du plaisir et du partage. Organisé sous le haut patronage du Ministre de l’Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse et créé à l’initiative du Syndicat national de l’édition, ce jeu constitue aussi un projet pédagogique pour les enseignants et les médiateurs du livre : il se déroule tout au long de l’année scolaire, en 4 étapes. Les enfants désignent dans un premier temps le lecteur le plus convaincant de leur groupe ou de leur classe, qui participera ensuite à une finale départementale, avant d’être sélectionné pour l’étape régionale, puis pour la Grande finale dans un grand théâtre, en présence notamment de la marraine de l’opération et des auteurs des livres que chaque Petit champion lira à cette occasion. Les Petits champions de la lecture rassemblent chaque année de plus en plus d’enfants, d’enseignants et de médiateurs du livre. Rejoignez-nous dans cette belle aventure !
