[Automatic translation follows] The Rouen Normandy Metropolis, created in 2015, brings together 71 municipalities and half a million inhabitants, over an area of 664 km2. Between the Seine and forests, the Metropolis has both an urban and rural identity. Its particularity: 45 of its 71 municipalities are “small” municipalities, that is to say populated by less than 4,500 inhabitants.
Almost 1,800 agents work in nearly 200 professions to serve several skills, from the production and distribution of drinking water, public transport to waste management. Several facilities take part: the Kindarena, the 3rd Palais des sports de France, the Zénith, Le 106 (largest current music scene in the northwest), the Réunion des Musées Métropolitains (11 Museums with free entry, a range of rich collections). The Aître Saint-Maclou and the Historial Jeanne d’Arc contribute to its international cultural and tourist influence.
Finally, the Rouen Normandy Metropolis is committed to the climate. It has launched a unique initiative of its kind in France: a local COP21, a variation of the Paris Agreement, with WWF and Ademe, and brings together the 71 municipalities, around a hundred companies (Renault, Ferrero, EDF, Grand Port Maritime de Rouen, etc.), as well as residents. -

Entre Seine et forêts, la Métropole est forte d’une identité à la fois urbaine et rurale. Sa particularité : 45 de ses 71 communes sont des « petites » communes, c’est-à-dire peuplées de moins de 4500 habitants.
Presque 1800 agents exercent près de 200 métiers pour servir plusieurs compétences, de la production et distribution de l’eau potable, des transports en commun en passant par la gestion des déchets. Moteur dans le développement et l’attractivité du territoire, terre rurale et d’entreprise, pôle de services et de production industrielle, bassin de vie et haut lieu touristique, elle initie et accompagne les initiatives dans ce sens.
Plusieurs équipements y participent : le Kindarena, le 3ème Palais des sports de France, le Zénith, Le 106 (plus grande scène de musique actuelle du nord-ouest), la Réunion des Musées Métropolitains (11 Musées à l’entrée gratuite, un éventail de collections riches). L'aître Saint-Maclou et l’Historial Jeanne d’Arc contribuent à son rayonnement culturel et touristique international.
Enfin, la Métropole Rouen Normandie s’engage pour le climat. Elle a lancé une initiative unique en son genre en France : une COP21 locale, déclinaison de l’Accord de Paris, avec WWF et Ademe, et rassemble les 71 communes, une centaine d'entreprises (Renault, Ferrero, EDF, Grand Port Maritime de Rouen...), ainsi que les habitants.
