In-house unit of the Lyon Metropolis, the Erasme innovation lab experiments with new public service solutions
As a department of the Metropolis of Lyon, Erasme contributes, through its methodologies and actions, to the territory's public and digital innovation policy. Our mission is to respond to societal issues and new challenges to our public policies by proposing concrete ideas that can be tested in a short period of time to respond to the territory's problems. Our approach combines frugality and agility and favors prototyping and participatory design to build an inclusive, learning and sustainable metropolis. The UrbanLab is a place dedicated to the ideation, prototyping and experimentation of digital solutions applied to the public policies of the Metropolis of Lyon. This is where the methods, innovation workshops, incubation and support implemented by Erasme are implemented.

Laboratoire d'innovation de la Métropole de Lyon, Erasme contribue, par ses méthodologies et son action, à la politique d’innovation publique et numérique du territoire.
Notre mission est de répondre aux enjeux sociétaux et aux nouveaux défis posés à nos politiques publiques ; en proposant des idées concrètes et testables dans un temps court, pour répondre aux problématiques du territoire.
Notre approche allie frugalité et agilité et privilégie le prototypage et le design participatif pour construire la Métropole inclusive, apprenante et durable.
L’UrbanLab est un lieu dédié à l’idéation, au prototypage et à l’expérimentation de solutions numériques appliquées aux politiques publiques de la Métropole de Lyon. C'est ici que se déploient les méthodes, les ateliers d'innovation, ainsi que l'incubation et l'accompagnement mis en œuvre par Erasme.
