Fondés en 2005, Les Concerts de Poche mènent une mission sociale, artistique et territoriale.
L’association crée du lien social, développe le goût de « faire ensemble » et de « vivre ensemble » auprès des jeunes, des personnes âgées, en difficulté sociale, en situation de handicap, en prison...
Pour cela, elle implique dans des ateliers participatifs, fédérateurs et intergénérationnels autour de la musique, les habitants des zones rurales isolées, des quartiers excentrés ou enclavés. À l’issue des ateliers, elle propose des concerts d’exception au cœur des lieux de vie des habitants, avec les grands artistes de la musique classique, du jazz et de l’opéra.
Les Concerts de Poche rencontrent chaque année près de 45 000 habitants à travers 2 600 heures d'ateliers musicaux et 125 concerts dans 380 communes de 30 départements. L’association est reconnue d’utilité publique.
