Rhéologie pour l'industrie et la santé
Rheonova’s mission is to make rheology accessible to non-specialists. This is made possible through robust experimental methods, scientific consultancy and design of innovative measuring equipment focused on the user needs.
Our services activity in rheology – audits, characterization, numerical simulation, engineering, and consultancy is addressed to industrials from all sectors (chemistry, agri-food, pharmacy, cosmetics, oil...). This activity positions us as expert in rheology and has strong synergies with our product activity.
Rheonova has developed a first laboratory equipment device, Rheomuco, dedicated to pulmonary pathologies. Our technology measures the viscoelasticity of sputum, the complex physical properties of pulmonary secretions. It allows to have a new indicator representing the physical state of mucus and to test the effect of different parameters or drug candidates on the viscoelasticity of mucus, affected in pathologies such as cystic fibrosis or COPD.
