Since 2000, CERIBOIS has supported companies throughout France in their development and in carrying out various tests. Originally created by wood processing companies (sawmill – carpentry – carpentry) to respond to their technical issues, CERIBOIS has since completed its offering and broadened its field of expertise.
Its activity is broken down into 3 main families:
- COFRAC testing laboratory (NF EN ISO/CEI 17025: see scope of accreditation on www.cofrac.fr) dedicated to the standardized measurement of the performance of joinery (wood, wood-aluminum, PVC or aluminum), structural wood and components used in carpentry or construction.
- Wood expertise for the search for performance in production (optimization, new technologies, finishing techniques, innovation, study of materials, investment projects, etc.).
- Continuing training* in the company for new technical skills for employees, the implementation of different certifications or adaptation to new techniques or normative requirements.
CERIBOIS offers a response based on listening to the needs of businesses.
Based in Valence in the Drôme in the south of France, its activity concerns companies established throughout the national territory and elsewhere in Europe.
Its team of a dozen specialized technicians and engineers work in the testing laboratory or travel to companies.

Depuis 2000, CERIBOIS accompagne les entreprises de toute la France dans leur développement et dans la réalisation de différents essais. Créé à l’origine par des entreprises de transformation du bois (scierie – menuiserie – charpente) pour répondre à leurs problématiques techniques, CERIBOIS a depuis complété son offre et élargi son champ de compétence.
Son activité se décompose en 3 grandes familles :
- Laboratoire d’essais COFRAC (NF EN ISO/CEI 17025 : voir portée d’accréditation sur www.cofrac.fr) dédié à la mesure normalisée des performances des menuiseries (bois, bois-aluminium, pvc ou aluminium), bois de structures et composants utilisés dans la menuiserie ou la construction.
- Expertise bois pour la recherche de la performance dans la production (optimisation, nouvelles technologies, techniques de finition, innovation, étude de matériaux, projets d’investissement, ...).
- Formation* continue en entreprise pour de nouvelles compétences techniques des salariés, la mise en place de différentes certifications ou l’adaptation aux nouvelles techniques ou exigences normatives.
CERIBOIS propose une réponse en se basant sur l’écoute des besoins des entreprises.

Son équipe d’une douzaine de techniciens et d’ingénieurs spécialisés intervient au sein du laboratoire d’essais ou se déplace dans les entreprises.
