Ma Petite Laine is a story about babies, wool... and common sense.
Since 2020, our 100% merino wool birth cocoon has accompanied thousands of newborns from their first days.
Imagined with the expertise of Agathe, a physiotherapist specializing in infant physiotherapy, and nourished by our perspective as mothers, it meets an essential need: reassuring baby as soon as he arrives in the world.
At the beginning of life, babies need to be contained, to bend, to feel safe, to access their hands and to discover their environment. The cocoon soothes, promotes falling back asleep and limits startled awakenings, while respecting pediatric recommendations for sleeping on the back.
An alternative to a sleeping bag, it can be used in summer and winter, thanks to the natural thermoregulation properties of merino wool.
Knitted in France, from exceptionally soft 100% merino wool, our cocoon also exists as a knitting kit, to transmit, create connections and make this founding gesture accessible to all.
Our model is registered with the INPI.
But above all, we design cocoons that respect both the physiology of the newborn and sleep safety, without compromise.

Ma Petite Laine, c’est une histoire de bébés, de laine... et de bon sens.
Depuis 2020, notre cocon de naissance en laine 100 % mérinos accompagne des milliers de nouveau-nés dès leurs premiers jours.
Imaginé avec l’expertise d’Agathe, kinésithérapeute spécialisée en kinésithérapie du nourrisson, et nourri par notre regard de mamans, il répond à un besoin essentiel : rassurer bébé dès son arrivée au monde.
Aux débuts de la vie, bébé a besoin d’être contenu, en flexion, pour se sentir en sécurité, accéder à ses mains et découvrir son environnement. Le cocon apaise, favorise le ré-endormissement et limite les réveils de sursaut, tout en respectant les recommandations pédiatriques du sommeil sur le dos.
Alternative à la gigoteuse, il s’utilise été comme hiver, grâce aux propriétés naturelles de thermorégulation de la laine mérinos.
Tricoté en France, à partir de laine 100% mérinos d'une douceur exceptionnelle, notre cocon existe aussi en kit à tricoter, pour transmettre, créer du lien et rendre ce geste fondateur accessible à tous.
Notre modèle est déposé à l’INPI.
Mais surtout, nous concevons des cocons qui respectent à la fois la physiologie du nouveau-né et la sécurité du sommeil, sans compromis.
