Our mission: Help each link in construction to make low carbon the new standard
- Produce calcined natural pozzolans from an ecological and available material: clay spoil from construction sites (already +400 characterized clays).
- Transform using flash calcination, a mature industrial process, 2 to 3 times more energy efficient.
- Deploy on a large scale with a first factory 30 km from Paris ready to produce in 2025: 200,000 tonnes of calcined clay per year, and more than 150 formulations tested and validated for around fifteen possible applications.
It’s not just a project, it’s a paradigm shift.
Today, the average clinker rate in the European Union in cement is 78%. The objective set by the EU is to drop to 62.5% by 2050. Our solution allows up to 70% replacement of clinker in a 1:1 ratio, without overrun effect.
Construction cannot wait until 2050 to reinvent itself. The solution already exists, and NeoCem proves that we can build differently, today.

Depuis 2017, NeoCem développe une solution circulaire capable de réduire le clinker dans le ciment traditionnel, en transformant les déblais argileux en ingrédients cimentaires à faible empreinte carbone.
Résultat ? 90 % de CO2 en moins par rapport au clinker substitué.

- Produire des pouzzolanes naturelles calcinées à partir d’un matériau écologique et disponible : les déblais argileux issus de chantiers (déjà +400 argiles caractérisées).
- Transformer grâce à la flash calcination, un procédé industriel mâture, 2 à 3 fois plus efficace sur le plan énergétique.
- Déployer à grande échelle avec une première usine à 30 km de Paris prête à produire en 2025 : 200 000 tonnes d’argiles calcinées par an, et plus de 150 formulations testées et validées pour une quinzaine d'applications possibles.
Ce n’est pas qu’un projet, c’est un changement de paradigme.
Aujourd’hui, le taux de clinker moyen dans l'union européenne dans le ciment est de 78 %. L’objectif fixé par l'UE est de descendre à 62,5% d’ici 2050. Notre solution permet jusqu’à 70% de remplacement du clinker en ratio 1:1, sans effet de foisonnement.
Le BTP ne peut pas attendre 2050 pour se réinventer. La solution existe déjà, et NeoCem prouve qu’on peut construire autrement, dès aujourd’hui.
