The Arca Consortium is the incubator of companies of the University of Palermo whose mission is to promote and assist the birth of innovative entrepreneurial initiatives. Over the years we have supported the start of startups and academic spin-offs with a high rate of innovation.

We are strongly engaged in transnational cooperation programs and conduct social innovation initiatives in collaboration with other local development actors.
The multiple technological sectors in which we operate are connected to the scientific production and skills present in the regional territory:

Il Consorzio ARCA è l’Incubatore d'Imprese dell'Università degli Studi di Palermo la cui mission è promuovere ed assistere la nascita di iniziative imprenditoriali innovative. Negli anni abbiamo supportato l'avvio di startup e spin-off accademici con un elevato tasso di innovazione.
Il Consorzio Arca, consorzio per l’applicazione della ricerca e la creazione di aziende innovative, attivo sin dal 2003, è un partenariato tra l’Università di Palermo e un gruppo imprenditoriale privato impegnato nel campo della ricerca industriale e del trasferimento tecnologico.
L'incubatore si trova all'interno del campus universitario di Palermo, ha una superficie complessiva di circa 1.500 mq e si articola attorno a un sistema di spazi comuni (coworking, cucina, living), moduli per le imprese, uffici dello staff, sale di incontro, aule di formazione e laboratori dedicati.
In maniera complementare ed integrata con le attività dell’incubatore, promuoviamo programmi di ricerca industriale e trasferimento tecnologico destinati a piccole e medie imprese, reti e distretti produttivi.
Siamo fortemente impegnati in programmi di cooperazione transnazionale e conduciamo iniziative di innovazione sociale in collaborazione con altri attori dello sviluppo locale.
