The Exploratory Research Program Organs and organoids on chip (Med-Ooc) aims to deploy in France a new generation of biological models thanks to the development of organs and organoids on chip (O & amp; OOC). Le Programme de recherche exploratoire Organes et organoïdes sur puce (MED-OOC) vise à déployer en France une nouvelle génération de modèles biologiques grâce au développement d’organes et d’organoïdes sur puce (O&OoC). Il est copiloté par le CEA, le CNRS et l'Inserm et financé par France 2030. Il dispose d’un budget de 48,4M€ opéré par l’ANR.
Les organes et organoïdes sur puces, ce sont des dispositifs miniaturisés contenant des cellules vivantes dans un microenvironnement contrôlé. Ils sont capables de reproduire la structure, le fonctionnement, et les interactions entre organes. Ces dispositifs pourraient permettre par exemple de mimer l’apparition et la progression de tumeurs ou de maladies comme le diabète et le syndrome métabolique, afin de mieux comprendre le mécanisme des pathologies, prédire l’efficacité d’un traitement et déterminer le meilleur traitement pour chaque patient.
