If since its creation, the CEFA preserves its Franco-German joint specificity and maintains a selective policy in favor of business leaders and executives with strong responsibility, it wishes to intensify its opening policy towards the youngest. This priority leads the club to grant facilities for executives under the age of 35 and to be open to deal with subjects that concern them.
Membership of the CEFA is done by cooptation, each person wishing to be part of the club must be presented by two sponsors, already members of the CEFA. The candidacy will then be submitted to the Executive Committee for Approval.

Echanges entre responsables du monde économique franco-allemand.
Lieu d’échanges entre responsables du monde économique franco-allemand, le Club Economique Franco-Allemand a pour principal objectif de contribuer à resserrer les liens économiques entre les deux pays à travers des contacts personnels. Ce Club accueille pour l’essentiel des entreprises et des responsables d'entreprises, en priorité industrielles.
Depuis 2005, le CEFA entend développer les contacts personnels entre membres du Club et contribuer à leur meilleure information sur les sujets d’intérêt franco-allemands et européens. Le club œuvre également pour promouvoir la coopération économique, faciliter les contacts entre milieux politiques, administratifs, économiques voire culturels, apporter, le cas échéant, une contribution aux décideurs publics sur les enjeux de la relation franco-allemande.
Environ une fois par mois, le CEFA organise des rencontres-débat sur des sujets d’actualité généraux ou plus techniques entre ses membres et des intervenants de renom, les fondateurs du Club étant convaincus qu’une réflexion politique et économique a toute sa place dans le cadre de l’activité professionnelle. C’est le sens de ces manifestations qui développent à la fois le réseau professionnel de chacun et lui apporte un éclairage utile sur l’actualité.
Si depuis sa création, le CEFA préserve sa spécificité paritaire franco-allemande et maintient une politique sélective en faveur des dirigeants et cadres d’entreprise à fortes responsabilités, il souhaite intensifier sa politique d’ouverture vers les plus jeunes. Cette priorité conduit le Club à octroyer des facilités d’accès aux cadres de moins de 35 ans et à faire preuve d’ouverture pour traiter des sujets qui les préoccupent.
L’adhésion au CEFA se fait par cooptation, chaque personne souhaitant faire partie du Club doit être présentée par deux parrains, déjà adhérents du CEFA. La candidature sera alors soumise au comité exécutif pour approbation.
