Since launching in 2021 newcleo has quickly established itself as innovator in the field of nuclear energy. newcleo is working to design, build, and operate Gen-IV Advanced Modular Reactors (AMRs) that are cooled by liquid lead and fuelled by reprocessed nuclear waste.
Through an innovative combination of existing and proven technologies, and by reviving a nuclear industry model based on the manufacture and multi-recycling of Mixed Oxide fuel, newcleo aims to close the nuclear fuel cycle while safely producing clean, affordable, and practically inexhaustible energy required for low carbon economies.
With a EUR 50m group turnover in 2024, more than EUR 537m of private funding and over 90 partnerships and collaborations across the nuclear industry, the growth of the newcleo group is supported through the targeted acquisition of key companies with strong capabilities in nuclear engineering, manufacturing, and waste management.

Depuis sa fondation en 2021, newcleo s'est rapidement imposé comme un acteur innovant dans le domaine de l'énergie nucléaire. newcleo ambitionne de concevoir, construire et exploiter des réacteurs modulaires avancés de génération IV (AMR) refroidis par du plomb liquide et alimentés
par des matières nucléaires valorisables.
Grâce à une combinaison innovante de technologies reconnues et éprouvées, et en capitalisant sur un modèle industriel nucléaire basé sur la fabrication et le multi-recyclage du combustible MOX, newcleo vise à fermer le cycle du combustible nucléaire tout en produisant de manière sûre une énergie plus propre, accessible et pratiquement inépuisable, indispensable aux économies bas-carbone.
Avec un chiffre d'affaires de 50 millions d'euros en 2024, plus de 537 millions d'euros de financements privés et plus de 90 partenariats et collaborations stratégiques, la croissance du groupe newcleo est soutenue par l'acquisition ciblée d'entreprises clés dotées d’une solide expertise
