  • Value proposition

RMK shipyard, established by Profilo Holding in Haliç in 1974 under the name P.K.M. Shipbuilding Industry and Maritime Transportation Company, continued its activities in yacht construction and repair until it moved to the Tuzla Shipyards Region in 1984. The shares of the shipyard were transferred to the Koç Group on June 26, 1997, and since August 1999, the company has been named RMK Marine Shipbuilding Industry and Maritime Transportation Company.
After joining the Koç Group, our shipyard built two military logistic ships and delivered them to the Turkish Navy in 2000. RMK Marine won the tender for four “Coast Guard Search and Rescue” ships opened by the Ministry of National Defense for the Coast Guard Command in 2006, becoming the first shipyard in the private sector to undertake the largest combat ship project in history. The project, consisting of four military ships measuring 88 meters in length and 12 meters in width, began with a ceremony held on May 3, 2008. The ships TCSG Dost, TCSG Güven, and TCSG Umut were delivered to the Coast Guard Command in 2013, and TCSG Yaşam in 2014.
Following innovations in the sector closely and developing its product range accordingly, RMK Marine is one of the leading shipyards in the Turkish Shipbuilding Industry. The main customers for commercial shipbuilding by RMK Marine include companies from Turkey, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Denmark, Spain, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
Our shipyard has a modern technical infrastructure where all kinds of superyacht construction, maintenance, repair, and restoration can be carried out using steel, composite, and aluminum materials and construction techniques. The majority of the superyachts built in our shipyard have won various international awards.
    Quality Management System
RMK Marine complies with the requirements of ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management System, BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety, and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. It also ho
