Die 1991 gegründete Deutsche Akademie für Public Relations (DAPR) mit Sitz in Düsseldorf ist Aus- und Weiterbildungsanbieter in der Kommunikationsbranche. Sie ist aber auch Prüfungs- und Zertifizierungsinstanz und bietet - neu seit 2020 - Beratung für Prozesse, Strukturen und Kompetenzen in Kommunikations- und Marketingabteilungen.
Unter dapr.bildung sind Grundlagenausbildungen ebenso im Programm, wie spezifische Weiterbildungen und Intensivtrainings für Kommunikator*innen mit Berufserfahrung. Neue Themen und Formate entwickelt die dapr kontinuierlich. Zu vielen dieser Angebote gibt es Prüfungen, zu denen sich auch Absolvent*innen anderer Ausbildungseinrichtungen anmelden können. Das Bildungsangebot runden individuelle Inhouse-Schulungen ab, die die dapr im XXL-Format auch für Mitarbeitende anderer als den Kommunikationsabteilungen von Unternehmen durchführt.
Die dapr.zertifizierung für Kommunikationsausbildungen in Unternehmen, Organisationen oder Agenturen existiert seit 2017. Namhafte Arbeitgeber wie die Volkswagen AG, die Bertelsmann Stiftung oder Fink & Fuchs tragen das Qualitäts-Siegel „dapr.zertifiziert“ für ihre Volontariate oder Traineeships.
Mit dem Geschäftsbereich dapr.beratung berät die dapr Kommunikations- und Marketingabteilungen in Unternehmen hinsichtlich ihrer Kompetenzen, Strukturen und Prozesse. Dabei liegt das Hauptaugenmerk auf dem perfekten Zusammenspiel von Führungskräften, Mitarbeitenden und Projektteams.
