La Communauté de Communes de la Vallée de Chamonix Mont-Blanc comporte quatre communes : Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc et Vallorcine, pour une population de près de 14 000 habitants permanents.
Au total, un effectif de 570 agents permanents et une centaine d'agents saisonniers ou à vocation de renforts permettent aux communes et à la communauté de communes d'offrir un service public de proximité à la population dans un souci constant de qualité.
Depuis plusieurs années, la collectivité a fait de ses priorités : l'encouragement à l'éco-mobilité, la préservation des espaces naturels et la sensibilisation du public, la transition écologique, la coopération transfrontalière, le renforcement du lien social, le soutien d'une économie locale et responsable, la gestion et la maîtrise de l'eau, la réduction et la valorisation des déchets, l'émergence d'un tourisme durable, le développement d'une politique culturelle active et enfin le rayonnement international par le sport.
Autant d'axes de travail primordiaux pour garantir et développer la qualité de vie des citoyens de la vallée, dont chaque agent est garant au quotidien dans son activité professionnelle.
