    [Automatic translation follows] The optical, photonics and systems laboratory is a laboratory at the University of Lorraine founded in 2000.
    The LMOPS is represented on three distinct sites: within the Centraleupélec school in Metz, within the IUT of chemistry in Saint-Avold and within the IUT of Thionville-Yutz.
    The laboratory brings together just over 50 staff, including around twenty doctoral students, divided into 4 research teams.
