YouScribe has been founded in 2011 and raised 2 million € in 2012 with Iris Capital, private investors and by crowdfunding. CEO Juan Pirlot de Corbion has been named Ernst&Young entrepreneur of the year 2013. YouScribe offre à ses utilisateurs un accès en streaming à des millions de documents, des centaines de milliers de livres (ouvrages professionnels, BD, guides de voyage, romans, etc.), titres de presse et livres audio.
Il est possible de lire depuis son ordinateur, son smartphone et sa tablette (navigateur Web ou bien application Apple/Android).
Les offres YouScribe permettent une lecture sans contraintes (synchroniser ses livres préférés pour une lecture en mode hors-connexion depuis l'application mobile) et sans publicité.

Juan Pirlot de Corbion, son fondateur, a été nommé au Prix de l’Entrepreneur 2013 de Ernst&Young. La société a reçu le prix du meilleur projet de crowdfunding décerné par les Assises de la Finance Participative en 2013. L’entreprise est lauréate PM’up en Ile-de-France. Élue "pépite à suivre avec attention" par SNCF développement en 2017.
